Screw classifiers, RV series

Screw classifiers, series RV, are used for the recovery and washing of aggregate materials. They mainly consist of a steel tank, with an Archimedean screw fitted inside, equipped with anti-wear steel blades. Thanks to its rotating motion, it has the dual function of washing the material being fed while at the same time carrying it through to the discharge outlet. The Archimedean screw is fitted on an immersed shaft that is lubricated by clear water flow and on a drive shaft on which the reduction gear unit is positioned. It is driven by an electric motor which generates the motion of the machine.
